Tina Lineberry shined on the hardwood for the women's basketball team. Lineberry was a 1995-96 Second Team All-Conference selection and named DIAC Rookie of the Year. In 1996-97, Lineberry was First Team All-Conference and DIAC Tournament MVP. She was again named First Team All-Conference her junior season, and her senior year she was First Team All-Conference, All-Academic South Region, and DIAC Tournament MVP for the second time in her career.
She was third all-time in points scored at the time of graduation and second in field goals made. Lineberry still holds the program record for career rebounds and rebounding average. She was also first all-time in steals when she graduated.Â
