Greensboro College Pride

The 19888 Men's Golf team earned the DIAC Championship. During the tournament, Greensboro was led by Marc Richter and Todd Simpson, both of whom tied as part of a three-way tie. Richter would go on to win the tournament on the second hole of a playoff. The team title went to Greensboro, as they defeated second place by 10 strokes. This was the seventh conference title for head coach, Jim Locke. The team would later compete in the NCAA Tournament, which was held in Greensboro.
