Steve Allison goes down as one of the most successful coaches in Greensboro College Men's Soccer history. Allison coached men's and women's soccer, as well as beginning the women's lacrosse program. In men's soccer, Allison compiled an 87-29-9 record and 4 DIAC Coach of the Year awards. The team made the NCAA Tournament five of the seven seasons he coached the team, winning the 1997 DIAC Conference Tournament.
In women's soccer, Allison earned 37 wins, coaching 16 All-Conference players. Allison was also the first coach in women's lacrosse history, beginning the program in 1993.
