Kevin Angle starred for the men's golf team in the mid-1990's. Angle was a two-time DIAC First Team All-Conference selection in 1996 and 1997. In the 1996 conference tournament, Angle shot a two round score of 146, tied for the best score at the tournament. In 1997, Angle won the conference tournament with that same 146 score, shooting a 75 in round one and 71 in round two, winning the championship by two strokes.
Coming back to finish his career in 2002, Angle was named DIAC Player of the Year and earned Second Team All-Conference. Angle helped Greensboro win the Conference Championship that season.
