Greensboro College Pride

The 1998 baseball team became the first baseball team in program history to win the Conference Tournament Championship after going 27-15 and 5-6 in conference play. The team defeated NC Wesleyan 8-7 in 11 innings to win the conference tournament, sending them to the NCAA Tournament. The team was led by Rash, who was named Co-Coach of the Year in the conference, as well as two all-conference selections in Brian Kreher and Andy Jankowski, along with Ray Michael who was named All-South Region Honorable Mention.
