Greensboro College Pride

Thompson's impact came on the basketball court, where she was a four-time All-DIAC Conference honoree, including three First Team selections.  In 1990-91, Thompson made the DIAC All-Tournament Team and was named the DIAC Tournament Most Valuable Player. 

Thompson's name is written all over the Greensboro College women's basketball record books.  She finished her career in the top five of ten school record categories and still ranks  highly in numerous all-time lists. In 2002, Thompson was honored as one of Greensboro College women's basketball's all-time greatest players in school history.
