Daryl Gholson goes down as the best running back in Greensboro College Football history. Gholson was a 1999 Third Team All-South Region and First Team All-ACFC. In 2000m Gholson was First Team All-Conference and again named First Team ACFC. Gholson still holds the program record for rushing yards (2,544), rushing touchdowns (31), and rushing yards per-game (77.1).
