Greensboro, NC - The USA South announced their men's soccer preseason poll on Tuesday, and the Greensboro College men's soccer team was picked to finish in fifth place.

The Pride come in off an 8-6-4 record in 2025 to go with a 3-3-1 conference record and hosted the first round of the conference tournament. The team returns USA South Rookie of the Year, Gustav Ohman, along with many key contributors from a year ago.

Defending champion NC Wesleyan was picked to finish first place, followed by Pfeiffer, Methodist, William Peace, Greensboro, Southern Virginia, Brevard, and Mary Baldwin.

Greensboro gets the 2026 season started with a home non-conference match against Bluefield University on September 1 at 6:00 pm.
