Men's Soccer Unveils 2026 Schedule

Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Men's Soccer unveiled their 2026 schedule, consisting of exciting non-conference matchups that includes a trip to the ACC's Duke University and key USA South Conference matches down the stretch.

The team begins the regular season on September 1 when they host Bluefield University on Pride Field at 6:00 pm. They then travel across town to rival Guilford on September 5 for a 12:00 pm contest.

The rest of September includes mostly non-conference matches, including home games against Carolina Christian, Warren Wilson, and Johnson & Wales, and road contests at Averett, Piedmont, Regent, and Randolph College.

Conference play begins September 30 as the team travels to Brevard. Greensboro will host their homecoming game on October 30 with a 1:00 pm match against Pfeiffer. After a trip to Southern Virginia and a home contest against Mary Baldwin, the Pride will face-off against NCAA Division I Duke University in Durham, NC on October 13 at 7:00 pm.

The final four matches of the year are against William Peace, Shaw University, NC Wesleyan, and then at home against Methodist to finish the regular season.

Head coach Jacob Weinshank says about the 2026 schedule, "We are excited for the opportunity to continue moving the program forward with a competitive schedule in Fall 2026. We are pleased to bring in a quality, balanced recruiting class made up of high level local players, top transfers and international student-athletes to add to an already strong returning group that features the 2025 Rookie of the Year in the conference, our leading goal scorer and key players in both the midfield and defensive unit. We feel that we have optimized our non-conference schedule to prepare us for a demanding conference slate. We look forward to competing for our family, friends and classmates on the newly resurface Pride Field!"

The team is coming off an 8-6-4 season in 2025 that saw them go 3-3-1 in conference play and host the first round of the conference tournament. The team has eight home games on the 2026 slate and ten road contests.
