The USA South Conference announced their weekly awards on Monday, and Greensboro College Men's Basketball freshman
Quamir Ingram was named both Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week.
In his collegiate debut last Tuesday, Ingram scored 48 points in a 104-96 road win against Oglethorpe. It was the highest single-game point mark this century for the program, surpassing Marcellus Morgan's 46 point performance in 2003.Â
Ingram also had 9 rebounds and 1 steal in the win, while going 16-20 from the free throw line and 15-26 from the field.Â
The men's basketball team plays again Monday night when they host Guilford at the First Horizon Coliseum at 7:30 pm.
