Greensboro, NC- Abigail Leo from volleyball and Gustav Ohman of men's soccer have been named this week's Greensboro College Athletes of the Week.

Volleyball went 5-0 last week and Leo was right in the middle of the action. The middle hitter recorded 40 kills, including 16 on Saturday against Salem, as well as 16 total blocks, counting a five-block performance against St. Mary's College of Maryland. Leo ranks second on the team in kills with 68, and her 24 blocks leads the team and places her third in the USA South. Leo and freshman Dilynn Norris have helped the Pride jump out to a conference-best 55 blocks as a team in 2026.

Volleyball begins conference action at home against Salem on Wednesday.

Ohman has netted a goal in his last three games, including two last week. In a 10-0 drubbing of Averett, Ohman recorded a first half hat trick, the first of his Greensboro College career. Then at Piedmont on Saturday, Ohman's goal in the 81st minute gave the Pride a 2-0 lead, which was ultimately the game's final tally. On the year, Ohman's 5 goals and 10 points both rank tied for second in the USA South. He has now tallied 13 career goals in 20 games played over his two seasons at Greensboro College.

Men's soccer makes a brief stop at home to take on Warren Wilson Wednesday before heading back on the road.
