Greensboro, N.C. - Volleyball's Larkin Baxley and Gustav Ohman of men's soccer have been selected as this week's Greensboro College Athletes of the Week.

Baxley played a big role as volleyball won all three matches last week. On Wednesday in a rematch of last year's championship match, Baxley did a little of everything, recording eight kills, an ace, eight digs, a pair of assisted blocks, and 17 assists in Greensboro's 3-2 win. Then in Saturday's tri-match against conference foe Methodist, Baxley delivered a strong performance of 17 assists and season-highs of 13 digs and 12 kills. For the season, she ranks in the top 5 on the team in points, kills, and assists, while ranking sixth in digs.

Volleyball takes on conference opponent Pfeiffer on Wednesday.

Men's soccer went 1-0-1 last week, scoring five total goals in the process. Ohman was responsible for three of those. In Wednesday's 3-1 come-from-behind win at Randolph in nonconference action, Ohman scored Greensboro's first two goals, while assisting on the third and erasing a 1-0 deficit and propelling the Pride to victory. Then in Saturday's 2-2 draw at home against Johnson & Wales, Ohman scored the game's first goal and helped build a 2-0 advantage that Greensboro would need in the second half to salvage a draw.

Men's soccer is on the road Wednesday at Brevard before a homecoming tilt against Pfeiffer on Saturday.
