Kansas City, MO - The United Soccer Coaches Association announced their 2025-26 Team Academic Award recipients on Friday, and Greensboro College Women's Soccer earned recognition with their 3.60 team GPA.

A total of 451 NCAA Division I, II, and III women's soccer teams earned this distinction across the country. Head coach Mike Johnston says of the team's success in the classroom, "I'm super proud of ths group's work in the classroom. These young ladies have set the bar for what it means to be student-athletes and we thank them for representing our program, institution, and community in such great fashion." 

The program has earned the Team Academic Award each year under coach Johnston. The Pride also went 11-7-2 in 2025, reaching the conference tournament semifinals.

The team begins the 2026 season on September 1 when they travel to Eastern Mennonite for a 6:00 pm match.
