Barry, Mitchell, Steele Named to All-Conference Teams

The USA South Conference announced their men's lacrosse all-conference awards on Thursday, and Justin Barry, Braeden Mitchell, and Jack Steele were all recognized.

Barry earned First Team All-Conference for the second year in a row after a record setting season. He scored a career high 66 goals while also compiling 54 assists. Barry led the conference in both of those categories, including scoring 16 more goals than offensive player of the year, Ethan Miles.

Barry averaged 4.13 goals per game and 3.38 assists per game, both of which led the USA South. Barry totaled 120 points, becoming the first player in program history to total more than 100 points in a season. He led the conference in total points and points per game at 7.50.

Goalie Braeden Mitchell was selected Second Team All-Conference in his first season with the Pride. Mitchell helped anchor a strong defense in 2026, totaling 185 saves and 11.56 saves per game, while his goals allowed average was 9.19, all three statistically better than all other all-conference goalies. His .621 save percentage led the conference.

Freshman Jack Steele was named to the All-Sportsmanship team. Steele compiled 24 ground balls and 42 face-off wins in 16 games played.
