Greensboro, N.C - Ivy Ray and Ella Ebert were named to the USA South All-Conference First Team for the 2025 season, while Raven Taylor, Jillian Vitamanti, and Anna Frazier garnered Second Team recognition. Vitamanti was also recognized on the All-Sportsmanship team.

Ray hit a robust .424 this season, allowing her to begin the USA South Conference tournament just six hits shy of the program record. In addition, she not only broke but shattered the single season record for triples with 11 (previous record was 7), as well as the career mark at 16 (previous record was 13). She also was 32-of-36 in stolen bases this year (88.9% success rate) while eclipsing 40 games played for the third straight year. She notched nine separate games with three hits, including both ends of a doubleheader against Carolina University that saw her leg out three triples.. 

Ebert's first season in Greensboro after transferring from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs surpassed all preseason expectations, despite the fact that they were lofty. Expected to come in and anchor the pitching staff, Ebert was part of Greensboro's Big Three, consisting of herself, Frazier, and Raina Hampel. Ebert earned a 6-3 record with a 3.47 ERA, striking out a team-high 52 batters over 68 frames. In game one against Meredith on 3/29, she struck out a season-high 10 batters while allowing just one run in seven innings. Shortly after, at N.C. Wesleyan on 4/6, Ebert took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, ultimately settling for a three-hit shutout. She proved herself more than just a pitcher, however, as she also ranked second on the team with a .373 average while cranking four home runs (1st at GC) and driving in 31 (T-1st at GC). She recorded 13 multi-hit games while also seeing time at the corner outfield positions and first base.

A utility player who hit .302 in limited action in 2024, Taylor didn't wait long to re-introduce herself in 2025, cementing herself as the everyday second baseman and blasting the team's first two homers of the year on the way to ending the season with three. She hit .315 while also driving in 24 and notching 13 steals.

Frazier, like Ebert, emerged as a two-way star for the Pride in 2025. She followed up her 2024 campaign (in which she hit .292) with a stellar .350 mark in 2025, with one home run and 27 RBI. She was also a perfect 17-for-17 in stolen bases during the regular season while playing nearly flawless defense at third base. In the circle, Frazier became an anchor for the Pride, delivering an 8-3 record with a team-leading 2.90 ERA over 72 innings, 61 more innings than she had thrown in the prior season. She was the starter on Opening Day against Centre, throwing six no-hit innings and earning the combined no-no with reliever Raina Hampel.

Injured for the first half of the season, Vitamanti hit the ground running and never let up, hitting a blistering .424, including a stretch of five consecutive multi-hit games. The speedster also stole 12-of-13 bases, and played error-free ball in the outfield. The senior delivered time and time again, whether at the bottom or top of the order, once scoring in seven straight contests, including a doubleheader against Southern Virginia in which she went 6-for-7 with three runs scored and five RBI.

Greensboro begins USA South Conference Tournament action in Rocky Mount on Thursday.
