The USA South Conference announced their weekly awards on Monday, and Greensboro College took home four of the weekly honors.
Will Gray earned the Men's Basketball Player of the Week award after a triple-double performance against Heidelberg in the season-opening game on Saturday. Gray scored 17 points in his Greensboro College debut while dishing out 11 assists and coming down with 10 rebounds.
For women's basketball, freshman
Kensly Stewart was named Rookie of the Week after a 23 point performance against Virginia Wesleyan. She also totaled 4 rebounds and 5 steals.
On the volleyball side,
Morgan Mayfield was named the Defensive Player of the Week once again after a 16 dig performance against Southern Virginia and a 18 dig performance against NC Wesleyan.Â
Lastly, football freshman
Cameron Turner turned in an impressive performance to earn Rookie Offensive Player of the Week. Against NC Wesleyan, Turner threw for 296 yards and 4 touchdowns while also running for 110 yards and a touchdown in the team's 38-29 win.
