Greensboro College Pride

2021-22: Started all 27 games, averaging 8.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Whiteside tallied 18 points and six rebounds in Greensboro’s win over Regent on November 6th.  She scored 17 points with five rebounds in the win over Salem on February 6th. This year Whiteside was a leader on and off the court and with those leadership qualities she received ‘The Lorraine Orr’ Leadership award. To top it off this year for Whiteside, she also earned her 1,000 career points!
 
Prior to GC: Attended Spartanburg Methodist College for two years. In 2018-2019, averaging 11.7 points and 2.9 rebounds. 2019-2020, averaging 15.8 points and 3.9 rebounds. All-Region honoree both years at Spartanburg Methodist. Whiteside also attended Wingate University in 2020-21.
 
High School: Two-sport athlete at R-S Central High School, competing in basketball and track. Earned her 1,000 career points her senior year, 2018. Whiteside also earned Defensive player in 2014-2015. She received the most improved player in 2015-2016 and Most Valuable player in 2017-2018.
 
Personal: Daughter of Crystal Kelly and Terry Whiteside. Majoring in Psychology. Whiteside is involved in the community and is doing an internship at the Boys and Girls club coaching younger athletes.
 
Favorite Athletic Moment: “The pre-game dances with coach and the team.”
