Greensboro College Pride

2021-22: Appeared in 27 games, starting 10.  She averaged 11.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per
game. Mason hit 38.1% of three-point shots, including going 3-3 in the Pride’s 83-78 win over
Southern Virginia. Mason scored 19 points and two rebounds in Greensboro’s win over NC
Wesleyan.  She earned a spot on the USA South All-Sportsmanship team. Mason also was
awarded with the Godwin Goodness Award and Dean’s List at the end of the year banquet. 
 
2020-21: Played in 13 games, starting eight, where she averaged 12.6 points per game, 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.7 steals. She shot 32% from the field, 33% from three-point range,and 71% from the foul line. Mason posted 21 points in the January 15 game at Meredith. She notched 21 points with four steals in the February 19 contest at Averett. Mason collected 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the March 7 game against Methodist.
 
2017-2020: Participated on the Lees-McRae squad for two seasons, redshirting one season.Mason was 3rd in the nation for most three-pointers made in her two years playing at Lees.
 
Prep:  Mason played basketball and volleyball at Sun Valley High School where she earned all-conference honors. Her senior year they went 18-8 and won the conference championship.
 
Personal: Mason is the daughter of Keith and Kristi with one sibling Keegan. Mason’s parents are both teachers. Her mother is a Kindergarten teacher for Indian Trail elementary school and her father is a physical education teacher, head men’s basketball coach, and Athletic Director at Sun Valley high school. Her brother Keegan is a Junior at Sun Valley and plays basketball for the men’s varsity team.
 
Favorite GC moment: Mason’s favorite GC moment was when the women’s basketball team beat Southern Virginia in Hanes gym and winning the conference. She said it was one of the best experiences and could not have asked for a better team and coaching staff to accomplish that with. #GoPride
