Biography

2021-22: Appeared in 18 games, scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists.  She collected Academic All-USA South honors for the second time.

2020-21: Appeared in nine contests where she scored five points, pulled down seven rebounds, dished one assist, and swiped four steals. Hackney collected Academic All-USA South honors in this season.

Prep: Hackney was a member of the basketball team with High Point Home Educators and was homeschooled with Kings Academy. She earned All-Region accolades two times and also scored 1,000 career points. In addition to her athletic achievements, Tyler also received a 4.0 GPA.
 
Personal: Hackney is the daughter of Steven and Judy Hackney. She also has three siblings, Travis, Jessica, and Jonathan.
