Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Baseball played two games on Friday against William Peace, falling 13-3 in game one while earning a 5-4 win in game two.
By winning game two, Greensboro will now face William Peace on Sunday to decide who will advance to the championship series next week.Â
The Pride found themselves down 4-3 in game two, but tied the game in the fifth on a
Tanner Jackson RBI single. In the eighth, Greensboro took the lead when
Jacob Severson hit an RBI single that would prove to be the game-winner.Â
Parker Broadus got the win out of the bullpen after going 4.1 innings and striking out two.
The teams will play again Sunday at 1:00 pm at Ted Leonard Park.
