Hampden-Sydney, VA – Greensboro College Baseball (16-13) fell to Hampden-Sydney (13-16) in midweek action 14-6.
Greensboro would open the game by scoring 4 runs in the top of the first inning before Hampden-Sydney would respond in the bottom half with 3 runs of their own.
Hampden-Sydney would continue to pile on runs, eventually getting out to a 10-4 lead after a 5-run 4th inning.
Trevor Testerman would blast a 2-run home run in the top of the 5th inning to cut the lead to 10-6. Greensboro would be held scoreless for the rest of the game as Hampden-Sydney would cruise to a 14-6 win.
Seven Greensboro hitters would record a hit with Dawson Shelton and Carson Herod each picking up an RBI.

Greensboro travels to Grottoes, VA to take on Mary Baldwin in a three-game conference series. Game 1 is at 4 pm on Saturday followed by a double header on Sunday beginning at 12 pm.
