Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Men's and Women's Swimming competed at the ODAC Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center last weekend.
In the women's division,
Allysia Alfred swam the prelims of the 200 IM, 100 fly, and 200 fly while also swimming in the finals of the 200 fly event. In the finals, Alfred swan a 2:54.50, good enough for 15th.
Omega Pinnix, who was an All-Conference swimmer a year ago, swam in the finals of the 100 backstroke and swam a time of 59.79, good for 9th place overall.Â
In the men's division,Â
Justin Brown,
Zak Gumaya,
Jalen Robeson, and
Jarrett Hunker all competed for Greensboro.
Justin Brown swam in the finals of the 400 IM and 1650 free. In the 400 IM, Brown swam a time of 4:48.83, and in the 1650 he would swim an 18:44.16.Â
The ODAC Championships mark the end of the season for the men's and women's swim teams, as they will look to build off another year of progress for each program.
