The ODAC Swim Championships begin on Wednesday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. The event will begin on Wednesday night and go through Saturday.
Greensboro College Men's and Women's Swim will be competing in the event, as women's swim senior
Omega Pinnix looks to earn All-Conference honors again after a second place finish in the 100-yard freestyle event a year ago.
Head Coach
Korey McCulley says of the upcoming ODAC's, "The staff and team are really looking forward to ODAC's this week. We are disappointed not to have any women's relay entries this season, but we are so excited to be sending off our graduating senior women, Omega and Allysia. They are both set up very well in their individual races and should cap off their careers with some great swims at the GAC this week. The men's team is taking its first significant steps in the program's rebuild this season by entering four of the five available relays (something we have failed to do for the last few seasons) and we will be looking to rely on our veteran leadership from our juniors, Jarrett and Devin, as well as some new event scoring potential from our freshman distance swimmer,
Justin Brown. It should be an exciting week with some great swims on the season for the GC Pride Swimming program!
The action begins Wednesday night at 7:30 pm followed by prelims on Thursday morning at 10:00 am. Thursday's finals events will take place at 6:00 pm. Friday will follow the same schedule as Thursday, while Saturday's prelims begin at 10:00 am and finals will take place at 5:00 pm.
