Greensboro College women's swimmer Allysia Alfred is competing at the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) November 7-9 at the Shrewsbury Aquatic Center in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The OECS is an annual swim competition between nine different Caribbean nations. Select swimmers from each nation are chosen to swim in the three day event. Allysia is representing the nation of St. Lucia.

The events Alfred will be swimming in include the 400 freestyle, the 100 breaststroke and 100 backstroke, the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly, the 50 freestyle, 200 IM, 50 backstroke, 50 butterfly, and finally the 100 freestyle.
