The USA South Conference announced their weekly awards on Monday and three Greensboro College student-athletes were recognized for their play a week ago.
Justin Barry earned Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week after a 6-goal, 4-assist performance in a 20-5 win over Randolph College on Friday night. This is the second consecutive week a Greensboro College Men's Lacrosse player has earned the award, as
Seth Woods was named Offensive Player of the Week last Monday.
Kensly Stewart took home Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week after averaging 13.3 points, 5.3 steals, and 4.3 rebounds in three games last week. The team went 2-1 in those three games. Stewart is now averaging 14.3 points per game, good enough for third in the conference, and also leads the conference in steals with 84.
Ralls turned in a great performance in his first collegiate outing on Saturday. Against Washington & Lee, Ralls pitched 5.0 innings, striking out 4 and giving up just 1 run and earning his first career win on the mound.
