Greensboro, NC- This week's Greensboro College Pride Athletes of the Week are Anna Frazier (softball) and Alex Mattoon (men's lacrosse).

Frazier was dominant in the circle against ODAC opponent Averett last Wednesday. Pitching the second game of a doubleheader, Frazier went the distance, hurling a complete-game shutout while surrendering just five hits and a walk. She earned her second win of the year (the 12th of her Greensboro career) and lowered her season ERA to a dazzling 0.58.

Softball hosts Sweet Briar for a doubleheader on Wednesday.

Mattoon had a huge week for the lacrosse team, who won both their games last week. At Guilford, the junior scored five goals, notched three assists, and collected six ground balls. Then, in a home victory against Randolph, he set a career-high with eight goals and added a pair of assists. He has recorded 21 goals this year, well on pace to shatter his career-high of 28, set last year.

Men's lacrosse travels to Bridgewater on Wednesday before hosting Marymount on Sunday.
