Greensboro Baseball's Zack Bird has won his second USA South Rookie Pitcher of the Week award this season, the conference announced on Monday.

In one start against NC Wesleyan, Bird went 6.0 innings, allowing 5 hits, 1 run, and striking out 5 hitters. Bird is now 3-1 in his freshman season.

On the year, Bird has pitched 39.2 innings in 9 appearances, striking out 31 hitters.
