Trevor Testerman was named a semi-finalist for the Small College Baseball Player of the Year Award on Monday. The award is a new annual award given out to the most outstanding player from D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO levels.
Testerman was named the USA South Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference. His stellar season included a .475 average, 16 home runs, 62 RBI, 12 doubles, and 4 triples in 38 games played.Â
Testerman ranked 4th in all of NCAA Division III in batting average, tied for 5th in home runs, and 5th in on-base percentage. Testerman broke the single-season program record for home runs in a season as well as batting average, slugging percentage, and on-base percentage.Â
