Kyra Tomlinson and
Isaiah Manning from women's and men's wrestling are this week's Greensboro College Athletes of the Week.
Tomlinson continued her dominant start to the 2025-26 season with three more victories in the Trojan Duals at Mount Olive on Sunday. After a 10-0 tech fall win to open her weekend, Tomlinson dominated her second match, winning by fall in just 15 seconds against Briana Fries of Brewton Parker. She would close out the 138 pound class with a 14-3 win over Mount Olive's Kalyse Hill. Tomlinson continues to show up on national rankings in her class and is ranked third regionally.
Women's wrestling is back in action at Emory & Henry this weekend for the Wasps Open.
Manning led the way for Greensboro in the Petrofes Invitational in Grantham, Pennsylvania. Competing in the 197 pound class, Manning went 3-2 on his way through the bracket, ultimately finishing with four points, good for seventh place on the weekend. The senior from Greensboro led the Pride in victories.
Men's wrestling has a lengthy break now, not competing again until the Jim Crytzer Invitational in January.
