College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their volleyball Academic All-District honorees on Tuesday, and four Greensboro College Volleyball players were recognized.
Skylar Rokov,
Payton Shiflet,
Taylor Cotie, and
Morgan Mayfield all earned Academic All-District honors after strong performances on and off the court.
Rokov had a solid sophomore campaign, totaling 135 kills for a career high. She also had 39 blocks and 163 points. Shiflet had another stellar season in a Greensboro College uniform, earning her second USA South Player of the Year Award and First Team All-Conference. She totaled 399 kills with a .313 hitting percentage.
Cotie was named Second Team All-Conference in her senior season that saw her have a team-high 68 blocks to go along with 204 kills. Mayfield also turned in a strong season, earning her second straight USA South Libero of the Year Award and being named First Team All-Conference. She had 578 digs and 5.90 digs/set to leading the USA South in both categories.
