Greensboro, NC - The 2026 Greensboro College Volleyball schedule has been released as the team prepares to defend their 2025 USA South regular season championship.

The team comes off a 2025 that saw them go 28-3 and 18-0 in conference play. The 2026 season begins with a home match against ODAC power Washington & Lee on September 1 inside Hanes Gym. 

The Pride then battle cross-town rival Guilford as part of the Cougar Classic at Averett on September 4, and later that day take on Roanoke College. After a single match with Averett on September 5, Greensboro will host Guilford for their second matchup in less than a week on September 9 at 7:00 pm.

The team then heads to Roanoke College for the Maroon Classic to play Randolph College, St. Mary's College of Maryland, Hollins University, and conference foe Salem College for a non-conference match. They will take on the Spirits again in a conference match on September 16.

After the team's first conference game against Salem, four more USA South games take place as the team battles Mary Baldwin, Meredith, Southern Virginia, and Methodist. After a non-conference match with Sweet Briar, the heart of conference play begins with matches against Pfeffer, NC Wesleyan, Brevard, and William Peace.

Johnson & Wales will be the final non-conference game for the team on October 10, followed by the final leg of the conference season. Second matches against Salem, Meredith, Mary Baldwin, SVU, Methodist, Pfeiffer, and NC Wesleyan (senior night) close out the month of October.

The final two regular season games happen in early November, when Greensboro hosts Brevard on the 4th and travel to William Peace on the 7th. 

Head coach Dan Bozarth says of the 2026 schedule, "I am excited for the upcoming season and our 2026 schedule. We jump right into the season against perennial power Washington & Lee and appearances at the Cougar Classic and Maroon Classic. We look forward to the challenge of defending the USA South regular season championship. Our team will be anchored by a strong group of returners, while we also welcome in six freshmen. We hope to continue the tradition of success that is the foundation of Greensboro College Volleyball. We can't wait to see everyone at Hanes Gym in the fall!
