Greensboro, NC- Camryn Marcondes and Alvaro Hermosa of women's and men's soccer, respectively, are this week's Greensboro College Athletes of the Week.

Marcondes has broken out at the end of her freshman campaign, totaling four goals in her last three contests. This week, she netted Greensboro's second goal in a 4-0 win against Salem that clinched the #3 seed in the USA South Tournament. Then, in the first round against N.C. Wesleyan, she scored both of the Pride's goals in a 2-0 win, sending Greensboro to the semifinal match at SVU on Wednesday. On the year, Marcondes leads the Pride with 48 shots, 29 shots on goal, 11 points, and is tied for second on the team with four goals.

Hermosa capped a strong debut season with Greensboro with a pair of impressive performances. Against William Peace in the regular season finale, the junior from Spain allowed a goal 10 minutes in, but then locked down the net with four saves the rest of the way as the Pride rallied for a 2-1 win to clinch the #4 seed in the USA South tournament. Then, in a heartbreaking 1-0 overtime loss to Methodist in the first round, Hermosa again played stellar, making seven saves, including more than one season-saving stops before the Monarchs tallied the winning goal off a corner kick in overtime. On the year, Hermosa finished with a 1.18 goals allowed average and a 79.0% save percentage, both ranking near the top in the USA South.
