The Pride showed grit clawing its way back from a 12 point second half deficit after Senior Greyson Collins' 3-point basket cut the Falcon lead to 84-82 with just 55 seconds on the clock.  It proved not to be enough, as Pfeiffer escaped from Hanes Gym with a 90-84 win on Saturday.  Collins was dominant for the Pride with a game high 21 points to go along with 8 rebounds.  Greensboro also got great production from Senior Ty Hill with 20 points and five assists.

The first half saw each team trade baskets with six lead changes and four ties, as the Falcons led 47-43 at the break.  Pfeiffer came out firing in the second half, jumping ahead 54-43 after Craig Sabb jumper at 17:46 of the second half.  The Pride were able to counter with a quick 8-3 run, capped by a Ty Hill layup with 14:16 remaining.  

Greensboro would again find itself in a double digit hole at 71-59 with only 8:20 left in the game.  The Pride would come all the way back to within two after Collins hit a deep 3-pointer with under a minute left with the score 84-82.  As Greensboro tried to extend the game with fouls, the Falcons hit their free throws and left Greensboro with the win.

The Pride will be back in action Monday night (January 31) as they host Methodist at 7:00 PM.
