Randolph made back-to-back shots to claim a 36-35 lead. Neither team garnered a lead larger than two points until 6:42 left in regulation when the WildCats opened a three-point edge (50-47).

Christian Thompson cut the deficit to one with a layup but the visitors scored nine-straight to lead 59-49 at the 4:21 mark. The Pride then began to slowly chip away with two three-point makes by Matthew Brown and one from Kevon Meertins to trail by three (61-58) with 1:37 remaining in the second half.

Both teams had opportunities to add to their totals but neither one was able to find the bottom of the net. Greensboro was forced to foul and sent Randolph's Danny Bickey to the line. The WildCats guard made both free throws to preserve the five-point victory.

The Pride were led by Brown, Meertins and Collins each finished with 12 points. Brown also grabbed nine rebounds with three assists, three steals and a block. Thompson added 10 points off the bench.
