GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro College men's basketball team struggled from the field Wednesday and fell to the Falcons of Pfeiffer University by a 113-79 score.
The Pride men held an 11-6 lead just three minutes into the game before Pfeiffer went on a 6-0 run over the next 1:30 to tie the game. Following the game-tying three-pointer, Greensboro was able to regain the lead before the Falcons put together a 21-7 run over the next 5:58 to take a 43-28 lead.
Despite a late 9-2 run in the final three minutes of the half to pull within nine, Greensboro could not get any closer and struggled in the second half before falling.
Kristian Williams and
Keyford Langley both had 12 points on the day while
Greyson Collins finished with 11.
