CARY, NC – The Greensboro College women's soccer team picked up another road win on Wednesday by defeating William and Peace University, 3-0.
Caitlyn Cook possessed a loose ball off of a corner kick and tucked it away in the left side of the goal in the 26
th minute.
Four minutes later, Cook gathered a threw-ball from
Lauren Greeson and found the back of the net once again, completing the brace, giving the Pride the 2-0 halftime lead.
Greensboro (7-2, 3-2 USA South) dominated the first half, outshooting the Pacers (2-7-1, 1-4 USA South), 11-0.
Greensboro then continued to show dominance in the second half, as
Lauren Greeson scored her sixth goal on the season, to secure the 3-0 victory.
Brittany Morrison (7-2) picked the win in goal, making two saves on the night. Cook had a team-high four shots on goal, while Greeson and
Alexa Rehling had three each.

Gus Mota said, "It was not our best performance today, but we fought through the early mishaps in the game and came away with three very important points."
"Our focus turns to N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday."
