GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro College men's soccer team defeated LaGrange College on senior day Saturday, 5-0.
Gerardo Peraza got the scoring started for the Pride (10-5, 7-2 USA South) when he tucked away a shot at the top of the 18 from a
Ryan Mule assist.
Senior midfielder
Marlowe Lindsay then scored the games' next goal. Lindsay took a pass from
Warren Washington and placed his shot into the top right corner.
Fellow senior
Scott Fatyol would score the next goal. Fatyol stripped a Panthers (4-10-1, 1-6-1 USA South) defender and slotted his shot into the right side of the goal.
Jared Heller would score next for the Pride, off a rebound from a Mule shot.
Follwing Heller's goal,
Camden Brooks capped the scoring off another Mule assist.
Jaime Payamps was credited with the win, making two saves.
Jake Speidel also saw time in goal for the Pride.
"It was great to get a well-balanced performance," Head Coach
Tony Falvino said. "To get good results to honor our seniors made this day a good one."
