GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro men's soccer team dropped their second straight USA South match against North Carolina Wesleyan on Sunday, 1-0.
The Pride (6-5, 3-2 USA South) allowed a goal early in the second half to the Bishops (7-3, 4-0 USA South) and were unable to find an equalizer.
The Pride were outshot on the day, 8-4.
Carlos Barragan,
Gerardo Peraza,
Scott Fatyol, and
Camden Brooks each accounted for one shot.
Jaime Payamps got the loss in goal despite making three saves. Alex Magner picked up the win for the Battling Bishops.
"It was a tough match," Head Coach
Tony Falvino said, "The boys played well and again created some good chances. It's important we learn from today and grow as a team and unit."
