DEMORAST, Ga - The Greensboro College men's soccer team completed a weekend sweep of USA South competition Saturday by defeating Piedmont College,2-1.

The Pride (9-5, 6-2 USA South) were able to continue from yesterday's performance, when
Sisay Sendek scored in the 25
th minute from a
Jared Heller assist, giving Greensboro a one-goal.Â

The Pride then held the one-goal advantage heading into the halftime break.
Â
Carlos Barragan then extended the lead early in the second half with an unassisted goal.Barragan's goal marked his third goal of the weekend and his eighth of the season.

The Pride would let in a late goal to the Lions, but were able to keep them from scoring the equalizer.

With the win,
Jaime Payamps earned his ninth win of the season, making four saves. Barragan recorded a team-high three shots, while
Ryan Mule,
Aameen Goyal, and Geradro Peraza added two shots each.

"It was good to get two wins out of the weekend," Head Coach
Tony Falvino said, "It will be good to get back to Pride Field and improve through this week of practice."

The Pride will return to action at 1 p.m. Saturday when the host LaGrange College for senior day.Seniors
