Biography

2023: Started 14 of 15 games. Scored 25 goals, 17 assists, and 19 ground balls.

2022: Started 15 of 16 games, where he posted 29 goals and 27 assists with 16 ground balls.  Beyer posted a five goal, six assist effort in the win over Warren Wilson on April 6th.  He put in five goals and three assists in the March 29th win over Brevard.

2021: Played and started all 13 games where he posted 40 goals and 17 assists with 26 ground balls. Beyer posted an eight-goal, two-assist effort in the February 21 game against Birmingham Southern. He compiled four goals and three assists with two ground balls in the March 7 game against Huntingdon. Beyer earned a spot on the USILA Team of the Week on March 3 for his early-season efforts.

2020: Played in six contests with one start where he totaled three goals and seven assists with three ground balls. Beyer posted two goals and five assists in the March 7 game against Randolph.

Prep: William was a member of the lacrosse team at Northern Guilford High School where he was named a US Lacrosse All-American.

Personal: William is the son of Lee Beyer Meley and Anthony Meley, and Bill Beyer. He also has three siblings, Laura, Michael, and Peyton.
