DANVILLE, VA. — Greensboro College men's soccer (3-0) defeated Averett (0-3) 10-0 on Wednesday. Greensboro outshot Averett 35-2, put 19 shots on goal and did not allow a shot on goal.
Gustav Ohman scored three goals while
Sergio Garcia-Barrios also added three goals, putting all three of his shots on frame.
Jorge Chabareh scored his first two career goals on three shots on goal.
Oliver Randholm Luque tallied two assists and added three shots.
Ohman scored twice in the opening seven minutes, with Randholm Luque assisting the second, as Greensboro built an early 2-0 lead in the first half.
Jade Diane added a goal from Randholm Luque in the 11th minute, and Ohman completed his third goal at 31:00 off Diane's assist. Greensboro finished the half with a 4-0 scoring edge.
Greensboro added six goals in the second half. Chabareh scored twice early in the half, including a 57:13 goal assisted by
Carson Fragomeni, as Greensboro recorded five shots from 45:47 through 52:43. Garcia-Barrios then scored three times, once off
Adrian Droese's assist, and
Aro Sardar added a goal at 69:32.
