DEMOREST, GA. — Greensboro College men's soccer (4-0) defeated Piedmont (1-4-1) 2-0 on Saturday. Greensboro scored both goals in the second half and finished with an 18-10 shot advantage, including 8-5 on goal. The team has achieved at least eight shots on goal in four consecutive games. The Pride's 4-0 record is the first time the team has won four straight games to begin a season since 2007.
First Half
- Greensboro earned four corner kicks in the opening 7:22 and added shots by
Toby Barnes and
Oliver Randholm Luque by 12:08, but the match remained scoreless.
- Piedmont answered with a corner kick at 20:18 and a shot on goal at 20:57, with
Alvaro Arroyo making the save during a stretch that also included multiple fouls.

Jalen King put a shot on goal at 28:07 and added another attempt just over a minute later, while Arroyo made another save at 34:49 to keep Piedmont off the board.
- Greensboro earned a late corner kick at 39:10, and
Axel Garcia had a shot saved at 43:58 before the half ended without a goal.
Second Half
- Greensboro earned a corner in the opening seconds of the half and put two shots on goal before the 62nd minute, both saved by Piedmont.
- Piedmont followed with a stretch of pressure, but Arroyo made three saves between 59:24 and 64:23 to keep the match scoreless.
- Randholm Luque put Greensboro ahead 1-0 at 66:17 off an assist from
Kayden Brimah, and Greensboro added to the lead at 80:50 when
Gustav Ohman scored from Randholm Luque's assist.
- Greensboro generated a corner and three more shots in the final five minutes and finished off the 2-0 win.
Randholm Luque scored the game-winning goal, added an assist and finished with three shots. Ohman added a goal on two shots. Ohman has scored at least one goal in three consecutive games. Arroyo played all 90 minutes in goal, made five saves and recorded a shutout. King led Greensboro with four shots and put two on goal.
