The Greensboro College football team comes into 2026 with lots of momentum after a two-game win streak to end 2025. The Pride have a mix of experience and youth that has the program excited for what's ahead this season.

Head coach Tyler Card leads the team after a 3-win season a year ago that included a Soup Bowl road victory over Guilford and two wins to end the season against NC Wesleyan and Methodist, respectively. Greensboro also found a spark for the offense in quarterback Cameron Turner, who returns for his sophomore campaign. In 7 games last season, Turner went 44-91 through the air with 695 passing yards and 7 touchdowns. Turner also ran for 331 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The offense also brings back a veteran offensive line and two young star running backs in Kyjuan Westmoreland and Camron Torrence-Kelly. At the receiver position, All-Conference returner KJ Brown looks to lead a young receiving corp.

Defensively, the Pride return Jay Law, Jadon Barnes, and Ziere Ray among others who were key contributors in 2025. Kalil Marcus also returns to anchor a young secondary. 

Greensboro begins the year with the Soup Bowl against Guilford College on September 5, followed by a road trip to Roanoke. They come home to play Bluefield University before their bye week, and then host Southern Virginia for Homecoming. Tough opponents await after week 4, when the team travels to Huntingdon and then comes home to play Belhaven. They then go to LaGrange and Brevard before hosting NC Wesleyan. The season ends with a road trip to Methodist.
