GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro College women's soccer (2-2-2) played Guilford College (1-2-1) to a 0-0 tie Wednesday at Armfield Athletic Center. Greensboro generated eight shots, seven on goal, while allowing one shot in the scoreless draw.
First Half
- A foul-heavy opening kept the match scoreless, with Greensboro whistled four times and Guilford once through the first 18 minutes.
- Greensboro pushed the attack midway through the half, earning four corners from 12:46 to 23:40 and getting an
Addison Self shot saved by Madison Motto during that stretch.
- Late in the half, Self hit the top woodwork and
Isabella Kelly followed with a shot saved by Motto, leaving the match 0-0 at halftime.
Second Half
- The match stayed 0-0 through a four-foul stretch from 48:53 to 58:17, while Greensboro put three shots on frame during that span: two by
Alex Dawson and one by Self, all saved by Madison Motto.

Alyssa Lane saved Sarah Bain's shot at 64:05, and
Cailey Petrauskas put another Greensboro attempt on target at 68:51.
- Greensboro added a
Shae Brennan shot that was saved at 78:02, and the match finished 0-0 after the scoreless second half.
Lane played all 90 minutes in goal, made one save and finished with a shutout. Self led Greensboro with three shots and put two on goal. Dawson added two shots, both on frame.
