Lynchburg, VA - Greensboro College Baseball (19-14, 11-5) traveled to Southern Virginia (11-22, 8-7) on Friday for game one of a three game series and fell 9-1.
The Knights scored four early runs to go ahead 4-0. They would score two in the first inning and two in the second. They then scored four more times in the fourth to jump ahead 8-0.
Their final run came in the fifth inning. Greensboro scored their lone run in the seventh on a
Brayden Sands sac fly RBI.
The Pride offense totaled four hits and one walk in this one.
Evan Sykes added a double and
Trevor Testerman stole his 19th and 20th bags of the season.
