Westminster, MD - Greensboro College Men's Lacrosse (6-1) traveled to play McDaniel College (4-3) on Saturday night and came away with a 10-8 win.
McDaniel struck first with 2 goals in the first four minutes. However, Greensboro bounced back with 3 of their own and took a 3-2 lead after the first quarter.
It was McDaniel's turn to flip the script in the second, scoring 3 goals to Greensboro's 2 and the teams would be tied 5-5 at the half. The Pride came out sharp in the third, scoring 3 goals, two by
DiMaggio Wilson and one by
Alex Mattoon, and took an 8-6 advantage to the fourth.
Seth Woods began the fourth with a goal to extend the lead, and the teams would trade goals the rest of the way as Greensboro kept their advantage and came away victorious.
Wilson and
Justin Barry led the team with 3 goals and 1 assist each. Mattoon and Woods each scored twice, while
Quinton Solomon had 8 ground balls. In goal,
Braeden Mitchell had 16 saves.

- Greensboro has now matched their win total from a season ago with 6.Â
- Greensboro won 15 face-offs to McDaniels' 6.
