Jekyll Island, GA - Greensboro College Men's Golf competed in a three day tournament at Jekyll Island Golf Club hosted by Oglethorpe University this weekend. The team finished 18th out of 30 teams, beating seven teams ranked ahead of them nationally.
It was freshman
Jason Parrish who led the way for Greensboro, shooting four under par for the tournament. He shot even par in round one, two under in round two, and again shot two under in the final round.
Watcharakan Chankarn finished the tournament at three over par, followed by
Mason Fischer at seven over and
Tyler Frechette at eleven over.
Harris Wilson rounded out the team at twelve over par for the tournament.
Greensboro finished ahead of #10 Oglethorpe and #15 Rochester among other nationally ranked teams the team finished ahead of.
Up Next:
The team will compete at the Capital City Classic in Alabama April 6-7.
