Howey-in-the-Hills, FL - Round two of the NCAA Men's Golf Championships took place on Wednesday, and Greensboro College's
Watcharakan Chankarn finished the round at eight over par for the tournament, missing the cut for the final two rounds.
Chankarn's career ends with a decorated two seasons as a member of the Pride. Chankarn made the NCAA Championships in 2025 and 2026, while being named the Elite Scholar-Athlete Award winner for the 2026 tournament.
Chankarn was named USA South First Team All-Conference this season, while last year being a PING All-American and All-Region selection. In addition, Chankarn was a 2025 Gary Player International Golfer of the Year finalist and USA South Honorable Mention All-Conference.
Currently, Chankarn is ranked #51 in all of NCAA Division III while finishing ranked #25 after the 2025 season.
Before Greensboro College, Chankarn was part of two NJCAA National Championship teams and was twice named an NJCAA All-American.
