Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College men's golf competed in their home tournament at Forest Oaks Country Club Monday and Tuesday for the Gate City Invitational. The team finished fifth place out of eighteen teams.
The field consisted of ten top-25 teams in NCAA Division III. For Greensboro,
Jason Parrish led the way by shooting even par (72) and tied for 14th place.
Mason Fischer finished at three over par and tied for 22nd.
Harris Wilson shot five over par, while
Chase Myers shot seven over. Rounding out the A team for Greensboro was
Russell Marion, who shot eleven over par.
Lukas Newton led the B team by shooting twelve over par, followed by
Liam Merlino,
Carson Hopping,
Eliel Rodriguez,
Cody Stephens,
Christian Beeker,
Andre Marriott,
Matteo Tonin, and
Simon Foreman.
Greensboro will play again October 5-6 at the West Pines Collegiate in Atlanta, Georgia.
