Asheboro, NC - It was a high scoring contest at McCrary Park on Sunday as Greensboro College Baseball (11-8, 2-1) fell to NC Wesleyan (3-13, 1-2) 14-13.
Each team scored two runs in the first inning, and the Bishops would take a short 3-2 lead in the fifth. Greensboro busted out for four runs in the inning, however, and took a 6-3 lead. They then scored five runs in the sixth and looked to be on their way to victory.
Unfortunately, the Bishops battled back, scoring ten runs in the last three innings. Despite a comeback attempt late, Greensboro would ultimately come up short and wouldn't complete the series sweep.
Trevor Testerman went 3-4 with a home run and 3 RBI.
